Do you know how to nurture the health of your female reproductive system?
In yoga philosophy the energy center of the body is called the primary energy seal or `mula banda`. The exact position of this important area is different for women and men. For women, it is located at the entrance of the womb and many yoga poses will have you exercise this area.
There are many techniques and exercises that care for and enliven your body and your sense of femininity. For example, ovarian breathing, breast massage with sacred sound, uterus and sacral massage sequences, and the `jade egg` practice.
Sara-Shivani holds regualr workshops and Goddess Gatherings that introduce women to these practices.
Cultivating female sexual energy and spending time with women in a safe and sacred setting allows one to explore holistic ways to achieving health and wellbeing and allows one to celebrate the joys of being a woman.
Please join her on this sensual and fun filled journey.
You will have the opportunity to purchase your own `jade egg` and Sara-Shivani will introduce ways you can use yoga and qigong techniques easily in your everyday life for increased energy, deeper sense of relaxation and more pleasure in your sensual relationships.
Her workshops are usually bilingual (English and Japanese).
Open to any women. No yoga or qigong experience necessary.

Learning practices that cultivate female sexual energy from an experienced woman is important and sharing the practice in a group setting is very healing.
During highschool I was first intrigued by these so called `goddess practices ` as I suffered from extreme menstrual pain and irregularity, and I lacked confidence in my femininity.
At university I came across Mantak Chia`s book, Healing Love Through the Tao – Cultivating Female Sexual Energy . Here he explains the Jade egg practice and it is through his book that the practice has become easily available to women. It was not until I went to China and was taught one- on- one by a female teacher that I really felt the healing power of the Jade Egg. Learning in the presence of a `woman of wisdom` is far more effective and enjoyable than learning alone with a book. Studying breast massage with healing sound by Daisy Lee, in Japan was also a very enlightening experience.Shashi Solluna, my dear friend and teacher based in Thialand, inspired me to integrate tantra (emotional) therapy practices with the `jade egg` practice in my daily life. As a result I no longer suffer menstrual pain, my cycle is in sync with the moon cycle and I enjoy my sensual nature and honor sexual pleasure. The Jade egg practice changed my hormonal and emotional life in so many positive ways (not to mention the sexual health and bliss benefits) that I feel compelled to share this information with other women. At first you may feel shy or even scared but if you are even a little intrigued then I encourage you to come and join one of my workshops or goddess gatherings. You may feel you would like to try the jade egg practice or you may not. You can participate in the workshop no matter your preference. Some women like to buy the egg and use it for the first time when they return home. Most like to try it in the safety of the group space we create.
I will explain why and how we use the Jade Eggs and guide your through a more traditional yoga warm up before doing the breast massage sequence . The workshop is ritual based. Even though we are in a group you will be very much in your own space so there is no need to feel self conscious or nervous. Together, through sharing, we all create a very sacred space for us to feel relaxed and open.
I feel the `jade egg practice` is something we should all know about.
For so long sexual health and female sexual energy cultivation has been taboo and only something we give our attention to when we develop problems. So this is a invitation to you explore and celebrate the wisdom of the female body.
Hope to see you soon. Please email me and will send you a personal invitation with the next session details. Sara-Shivani

Information on the Jade Egg summarised from the book, ``Healing Love Through the Tao – Cultivating Female Sexual Energy `` by Mantak Chia
The use of a stone or Jade Egg to strengthen the vagina is a practice that evolved in ancient China. As time went on, the secret of this practice remained in the Royal Palace and was taught only to the queen and concubines. Many who mastered the technique experienced very good health, remaining young and bountiful, with sexual organs in old age as tight and resilient as those of a young, unmarried lady. Some believe that the queen and concubines practiced the technique in order to please the king while making love. Originally, however the Egg Exercise and Vaginal Weight Lifting were implemented for improving health, both physically and spiritually, since these exercises provide more power to the Chi Muscle ( Pubo-coccygeus or PC muscle) The egg is a marvelous way to strengthen and control the main female energy (Chi) muscle. It is easier to practice control of this muscle with an egg in the vagina beacuse the egg moves and thus you can feel the direction in which the Chi muscle moves more distinctly. Controlling this voluntary muscle means controlling of the many involuntary muscles in this area as well. Also, as you master the use of this muscle of the vagina and perineum, you simultaneously tone up the lower abdomen. Thus, you exercise your core and the flow of sexual hormones (which have numerous health benefits) increases. The more advanced `Vaginal Weight Lifting` practice is also a very powerful practice to strengthen not only the Chi Muscles, but also the urogenital and the pelvic diaphragms. The strength of these two diaphragms is very important since these diaphragms serve as floors to the sexual organs and all vital organs in the body. When the Chi Muscle and diaphragms are loose, Chi pressure will leak out from the organs as they stack upon each other, dropping all their weight to rest upon the perineum. When strong, the muscle and the diaphragm function as seals, preventing leakage of life-force and sexual energies.
