Overview.
Learn lasting secrets for creating a healthy body, mind and soul. Aim for experiencing health and happiness on a daily basis. With these intentions you will achieve your goals. Aim for peak performance by challenging your abilities, and or freeing yourself of physical and emotional pain. The techniques and tools Sara-Shivani shares with you are simple and effective because they are natural and most importantly they are fun and feel great!
Format, Location and Price.
Most workshops are taught in groups but individual sessions are also available. English, Japanese or bilingual sessions are available. Public workshops are usually taught over 2.5 hours. Personal workshops but can be adapted to a time frame to suit your schedule. Sara-Shivani can come to a convenient location for you and your group or we can find a suitable venue together. A space that is clean and near nature (a park or field) is preferable. Pricing depends on group numbers and in the case of personal sessions on the number of times we meet.

Why do we want to detox stress?
Stress produces many types of physical and mental illness. It can male your feel tired, unhappy and depressed. Stress can cause headaches, muscle tension and high blood pressure. Over time it can also cause brain tissue damage, weakening of bones, ulcers, menstrual disorders, miscarriages, depression and addiction.
What is stress?
According to stress management consultant, Louise Lowry, `Stress is an emotional response to a situation, (real or imagined ). When we’re faced with any sort of pressure, danger or any challenge, we react as the body releases hormones (corsitol and adrenaline) that help us deal with that particular situation. These hormones are part of the “flight or fight” response that affects the heart rates, the blood pressure, the sweat glands, the pulse rates, and it prepares the body in how it reacts. Some people deal with stress well other people can’t. It comes down to a persons coping skill, and how they react to the situation. Because our stress reaction is an emotional response we can control those emotions and handle any stressful situation.
Why can yoga help?
When you feel stress you perceive a conceived threat. A `stress-free` response is a matter of awareness. This is why yoga is a helpful tool. Yoga techniques have a profound effect on your perception, awareness, thinking and response because it activates the parasympathetic nervous system instead of the sympathetic nervous system (“flight or fight” response). Yoga `stress free` tools so effective you will feel yoga is like magic !


This 4 part course is designed to teach you the basic yoga techniques that release physical, mental and emotional tension from your body and mind. Anyone can participate. You will increase your ability to breathe deeply, concentrate and think positively. You will improve your intrinsic awareness and mind/ body flexibility. You will find that yoga is deeply calming and empowering to handle stress successfully.
Session One
Detox physical tension from your body (especially your shoulders, neck and spine) and negative emotions from your mind. Learn a dynamic yoga exercise that will make you feel light and create flexibility.
Session Two
Learn yoga movements you can do in the morning or during the day (even at work). Learn basic yoga breathing techniques release stress and to give you the energy you need to enjoy your life.
Session Three
Learn yoga movements you can do before bed to increase relaxation, improve circulation and organ suppleness. so you
Learn `Yoga Nidra` (yoga sleep) so you can can sleep deeply and awake feeling refreshed and positive.
Session Four
Try yoga exercises that show you how to handle stressful human relationships. Learn yoga movements you can do with your lovers, friends and even colleagues to improve self-expression and communication.
